Step 1: Login to SSH (Gain)

change to bash mode
[Expertmode]#chsh -s /bin/bash admin

Step 2: Copy the relevant download files from the Checkpoint official site.

Use WINSCP to copy file in new created directory

Run the command below.
[Expertmode]#cd /some_path_to_CPUSE/
[Expertmode]#tar -zxvf DeploymentAgent<build>.tgz
[Expertmode]#rpm -Uhv –force CPda-00-00.i386.rpm
[Expertmode]#killall -v clish clishd
[Expertmode]#tellpm process:confd
[Expertmode]#tellpm process:confd t
[Expertmode]#$DADIR/bin/dastart

Restart the Checkpoint.

After CPUSE upgrade as above, install hotfix using GUI.

Login to GAIA go to Software and Updates Section

You see uploaded hotfix right-click and install.
